Fresh mulberries, red currants, blueberries, a hint of cloves, smoke and hot stones unfold on the nose. Intense red and dark fruits reveal themselves on the palate, with fine tannins and a supple texture. A delicate spiciness accompanies the long finish. A wonderful, light-footed wine of supple elegance from a hot vintage that is now beginning to show its sophistication and class.
