Schlossberg Staufen
Our vines grow on the south and south-western slopes of the Schlossberg in Staufen in the Markgräflerland. The soil is characterized by shell limestone and yellow slate. This exposed location has a pronounced microclimate, with strong sunshine and cooling winds from the Rhine plain. Our Schlossberg wines combine strength and freshness, tension and finesse and, with their silky texture, are one of our flavor highlights.
