Kaiserberg Herbolzheim

Humus loess loam on top of yellow lime marl, supported by light slate and granite. The high, steep cliffs are warmed by the sun and slowly give off this heat to the vines. At the same time, winds are constantly blowing through the Rhine valley. One could say that the vines stand with “warm feet” in cooling winds. The wines obtained are particularly powerful, big and at the same time very elegant.
